Customers will be able to indulge in plant-based Italian treats including Loaded Gnocchi, Spaghetti Carbonara, and homemade Tiramisu

Vegan pasta chain Pastan is opening a new restaurant in Bristol, the vegan capital of the UK. Founded in 2020, the eatery aims to ‘make plant-based pasta as exciting and as accessible as possible to entice vegans and non-vegans alike’.Already serving vegan Italian delights London and Manchester, Pastan has now secured the keys for a new location in Bristol.

Customers will be able to choose from an array of vegan dishes, including Loaded Gnocchi, Spaghetti Carbonara, and homemade Tiramisu. Prices for main courses start at £12. According to Bristol Live, Pastan’s brand manager Sophie Weir said the new location followed the success of a pop-up – which ‘demonstrated an appetite for plant-based pasta options’ in Bristol.She added: “It’s an exciting city, a really vibrant city, one that we really want to put our mark on. “We noticed for the pop-up we had that Bristol has an amazing vegan and plant-based community and people are open to trying new vegan options.”
